The FARMŸNG project is structured in 9 work packages:
- WP1: Project Management
- WP2: Engineering, building and delivering up and running process
- WP3: Production of insect raw material (Flagship demonstration)
- WP4: Use of insect-based products for aqua-feed and pet food application and fertilizer production (Flagship demonstration)
- WP5: Breeding strategy
- WP6: Quality, Safety, Purity Assessment of insects based-products
- WP7: Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment of the value chains
- WP8: Exploitation and Dissemination
- WP9: Ethics requirements
Different technological activities will be implemented in the project, divided into 6 technical/scientific Work-Packages (WP2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7): WP2 is dedicated to the ΫnFarmTM building, WP3 and WP4 deal with the Flagship demonstration, and WP5, WP6 and WP7 include all the activities that are required to validate the whole process. The overall management of the project is ensured by the activities carried out in WP1. The impacts of the FARMŸNG project are maximized by the activities of WP8 and the ethic requirements will be analysed in WP9.
