The FARMŸNG partners are working to produce proteins from alternative sustainable sources!

The FARMŸNG project will demonstrate a large-scale, first-of-its-kind bio-based value chain producing sustainable, safe and premium products for fertilizer, petfood & fishfood from an innovative origin: the Tenebrio molitor (beetle).

For more than 10 months, 20 European partners have started to collaborate in order to realize this ambitious project!

The FARMŸNG Consortium comprises 19> partners from 8 countries with strong multidisciplinary competences required for carrying out the work plan and match project objectives.

This project has received funding from the Biobased Industries Joint Undertaking (JU) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 837750. The JU receives support from the 22 European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the Bio-based Industries Consortium
